So, I decided to start a blog and here it goes.

Lately with Deb...
Since school started I've basically said goodbye to my social life. It can get lonely at times but I am focused on work/school and I couldn't be more eager to graduate soon and move out of Texas. I've always had my heart set on the west coast in the cold and rain. I'd love to move to Seattle, WA within the next two years. I could really see myself enjoying the city, the music scene, the mountains, the fresh air and the rain. Besides that, I've just been working a lot. I'm a cashier at a grocery store which is very repetitive and boring but I get paid pretty good money for such an easy job. The service industry is just so annoying sometimes but oh well it's a part-time job. Things are pretty swell in my life right now. I have focus and motivation to have a bright future and a pretty great person to spend it with.

Lately with Ferdinand...
Ferdinand has been a little baby lately. He's extremely attached to me. He will cry all night if I don't let him sleep in my bed under the covers with me. It is pretty cute but for being  such a small dog he literally takes up the entire bed. He is not the best cuddle buddy but he is by far the cutest.

Lately with music...
If you know me you probably know that I am completely obsessed with Alt-J. When I discovered Alt-J I had actually heard the song 'Fitzpleasure' on Alt Nation and thought it was such a weird/interesting song. I remember looking them up on YouTube and I just fell completely in love with the music they created. 'An Awesome Wave' is such a perfect album. I have seen the band play at SXSW but the set was very short. It's going to be great watching them at Stubb's this Saturday evening. I couldn't be anymore excited. This weekend is going to be so great.

Lately with television...
Everyone is talking about it. You're probably talking about it. I can't stop talking about it .  Breaking Bad will always have a special place in my heart. It is the best drama on television. The writing is brilliant. The actors are brilliant. It's just such an incredible show that's so dark and we are all just along for this journey to find out what is going to happen to the great Heisenberg. Sundays episode was emotionally heartbreaking and it just makes you wonder how much crazier can it possibly get from here. I will be watching the finale this Sunday night at 8:00 p.m. and you should be also. Oh, just fyi AMC is showing a Breaking Bad marathon of all 61 episodes starting Wednesday evening.

Lately with movies...
The last movie I saw in theaters was 'Blue Jasmine' a Woody Allen Film set in San Francisco, CA. I was interested in seeing the film because Woody Allen  is a talented director and Louis C.K. had a small role. Cate Blanchett did a fantastic job, I'm pretty sure she will win an Oscar for her performance. The movie was great. It wasn't what I really expected watching a Woody Allen film but definitely a powerful movie that I enjoyed.

Lately with books...
I finally have Amazon Prime account back which means I can order books all the time. The first book I ordered was 'Parks and Recreation' by the one and only, Leslie Knope. If you are a fan of the show you would definitely enjoy this book. As I read each page I could hear Leslie Knope's voice. I've never laughed so much while reading a book. I have not finished it yet but it's so easy to pick for a few quick laughs. Again, if you are a fan of the show I urge you to get the book. It's literally ::Chris Traeger voice:: the best.

Finally, what I am excited for...
Okay guys I saw this last night on breakingbadstore.com and I freaked out. I am such a fan of the show and this box set is exactly what I need. All 5 seasons of Breaking Bad in money barrel with an apron, t-shirt, documentaries and extras. It's like it was made for me. Unfortunately, it not available until November 23, 2013 for $224.99.

Thanks for reading.

love
